Welcome to Hey Manifest. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hey Manifest website and services (the “Service”). Hey Manifest is a brand of MaestroSAT (“MaestroSAT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

To post content you must register an account with a valid email address, which you must confirm. We use email-based one-time codes to help secure sign-in and password changes. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Your content

Hey Manifest lets you publish short statements of intention, goals, and dreams (“Manifestations”) together with a target date. Manifestations are public and may be viewed, shared, and supported by anyone. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it.

You agree not to post content that:

  • is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, or threatening;
  • is sexually explicit, exploits minors, or promotes self-harm or violence;
  • infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • contains spam, malware, or attempts to deceive or defraud others; or
  • impersonates any person or misrepresents your affiliation.

4. Licence to your content

You retain ownership of your Manifestations. By posting, you grant MaestroSAT a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups or as required by law.

5. Moderation and enforcement

Content may be screened by automated moderation and reviewed by our team. We may hold, block, remove, or refuse any content, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion. Reasonable posting limits and rate limits apply to keep the community healthy.

6. Intellectual property

The Hey Manifest name, logo, design, and software are owned by MaestroSAT and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Hey Manifest is a platform for sharing intentions; we make no promise that any goal or manifestation will be achieved, and nothing on the Service constitutes professional, financial, legal, or medical advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MaestroSAT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service or other users.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
